 the ligthing equipment must be complyon all point  with the International Convention of Road Traffic
each car must be fitted with at last:
-2 Headlights (combined passing lifght / headlights)
-2 Front lamps
-2 Rear lights and number plate lighting
-2 Brake lights
-2 Flashing direction indicators front and rear
- distress lights


Both headlights and auxiliary lights should be in front of the front wheel center line at a height corresponding to the maximum of the line of the bonnet / bottom of the windshield (maximum eight projectors).

Each car must also  equipped with two additional red rearfog  lamps taillights called fog, twinned  or placed side by side with two stop lights.


Each car must be fitted to the rear lights following

§ Two red lights like "anti-crash" type LED (height or diameter 50mm / 36 diodes minimum). These lights connected directly to the circuit breaker function permanently.

§ Two red "stop" disposed symmetrically with respect to the axis of the car type LED (height or diameter of 50 mm / 36 minimum diodes) they will be controlled exclusively by a contact inserted into the hydraulic braking circuit . . These four lights must be positioned so that at least two of them are simultaneously visible from the rear at an angle of 30 ° either side of the central axis, and this whatever the shape of the body, including regulatory aerodynamic devices. They must  be situated between at least 120 cm of soil and / or + /-10cm the highest point of the car. The quality of the installation of these lights shall ensure adequate resistance to race conditions.

Light-emitting surface must be in a vertical plane with respect to the track.

They must be fixed to the two rear ends of the vehicle or to pick-up types in the upper corners of the rear part of the cabin.

The rear fog lights will turn on automatically with the ignition.


All these lighting equipment shall be maintained in working condition for the duration of the event. A crew will be denied until the start rehabilitation of the electrical circuit if it was found faulty.

Additional headlamps, including the corresponding relays are allowed provided they do not exceed a total of eight lights (excluding lamps or sidelights).

They can not be mounted by embedding. The number of headlights and other exterior lights must always be even.

As part of the night trials and only in this case, additional lights will be installed on the roof.

The original headlights can be rendered inoperative and can be covered by tape. They may be replaced by others, in respect of this article.

The installation of a reversing light is permitted provided that it can be used only when the lever shift is set to "reverse gear" and subject to the observance of police regulations in this regard .

It is possible to add fuses to the electrical circuit. Beacons are prohibited.

FRENCH NOTE: In the National and Regional events, LED Modules are allowed. Provided that it does not exceed a total maximum of 6 additional headlights or 24 maximum additional MODULES LED. 1 lighthouse beacon will be equivalent to 4 LED Modules (See illustration of a LED MODULE below). The mix headlights / LED MODULES is allowed in respect of equivalence and the maximum allowed above.


The general circuit breaker must cut all electrical circuits (battery, alternator or dynamo, lights, horns, ignition, electrical controls, etc ...) and must also stop the engine. The circuit breaker should be a spark proof model and  accessible  from inside and outside the car. Concerning  the outside, the command must be located at the bottom of the amount of the windshield on the driver side. It will be marked by a red spark in a white edged blue triangle with at least 12 cm wide.

One external switch group is mandatory T2. The cars of the group T1 to be equipped with two external switch, on a one on each side of the windscreen.

For diesel engines, the circuit breaker must be paired with a device cutting off the engine intake


Rings towed must be fitted at the front (left and right) and rear (left and right) cars. They will be very securely fastened. These rings are clearly visible and painted in yellow, red or orange. They must be registered within the perimeter of the car. Minimum inside diameter: 60 mm.  and thickness10 mm
